“Coastal Dream” Oil Pastel in Strathmore Toned Paper. I tried out the Crayola Oil Pastels. They were a little crumbly during use, but over all a decent pastel. Definitely for kids, but good for playing around and experimenting.

My plein air painting at Berry Springs Park. Oil on 9” x 12” canvas panel.

I started with longer paint strokes but when I finished and looked at it, I realized I had gone over the piece with many smaller brush strokes. I really like how it evolved and turned out.
