The Summer Program is officially here! We’re so excited to be working with these amazing young women this summer to make Brighter available in Spanish!
They will help us lay out translated articles from past issues, create altogether new pages, raise awareness in their peer group through social media and the Brighter website, and raise funds to provide resources for women affected by cancer.
We are already so proud of this year’s Summer Program and we cannot wait to see what they’re able to accomplish!

May is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month, and something that some bladder cancer survivors experience due to removal of or damage to the bladder is a urostomy. We want to normalize urostomies, shed light on the realities of them, and remind survivors that there is so much hope. Life can be beautiful, fulfilling, and exciting even if your body has been physically changed after treatment.
For more information about urostomies and resources to get support, click the links below.
