Lago Mar Country Club is a private golf club in South Florida located about 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. It has a relaxed family friendly atmosphere where members feel welcomed and known. The Kipp Schulties redesigned 18 hole course sits on rolling terrain with water features and a fair but challenging layout for all skill levels. The Club emphasizes community tradition and hospitality while continuing to evolve its dining and facilities for members.

The Executive Chef reports directly to the General Manager and serves as a visible hands on culinary leader balancing member satisfaction with financial performance. The EC must oversee all kitchen operations including menu creation cost control staffing training and maintaining a member first culture in a casually elegant environment. This is a working chef role requiring strong financial discipline administrative skill and the ability to engage with members ownership and staff while driving consistent quality excellence.

The Club has recently completed a full kitchen rebuild and is entering an exciting new chapter with the addition of an Executive Chef. This is a unique opportunity to help define a “new normal” for the Club, building on its strong traditions while shaping the future of its culinary program. Lago Mar offers a full calendar of traditional holiday events, golf and tennis tournaments, and themed social nights, while also actively seeking to better understand and respond to member preferences to deepen engagement and strengthen Club culture.

The Executive Chef will be responsible for delivering consistently exceptional culinary experiences in a “home away from home” dining environment. The ideal candidate will be highly attuned to current culinary trends, capable of evolving menus with creative, contemporary offerings, while maintaining classic favorites that keep members returning frequently throughout the week.
