Texas Renters: Having trouble getting your deposit back or just want an accounting of what the Landlord is withholding?

Send your Landlord / Property Management Company a completed 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 via certified mail.

✅ Be sure to verify your new address so that they can mail you your deposit or an itemized list of deductions as requested.

✅ Remember to state very clearly that you did not forfeit your deposit upon scheduled lease termination and move-out unless you signed something to that effect in writing.
