Step One: Decipher who is paying for the wedding. Is it you? Your significant other? Your family members? Are y'all splitting the cost?
Step Two: Create a rough estimate on the total you wish to spend, and break it down by priorities.
Step Three: Ask a lot of questions when consulting with vendors, wedding coordinator, wedding venues, photographers/ videographers, catering service, etc. And make sure to read the fine print on all contracts.
Step Four: Prioritize what's most important to least important when it comes to budgeting.
