Karela, also known as bitter melon, has been enjoyed in many cultures for generations. It’s naturally rich in vitamin C and contains fiber and antioxidant compounds.

Research has also explored its potential role in supporting healthy blood sugar metabolism, although it’s not a substitute for prescribed diabetes treatment.
