DID YOU KNOW: Not *every* charitable donation can be deducted on your tax return?

Here are a few donations that don't count:

→ Donations to an organization that isn’t a qualified charity (like political organizations, country clubs, and homeowners’ associations).

→ The value of your time spent volunteering (or the value of your loss of income while volunteering).

→ For any donations you make where you receive (or expect to receive) a financial benefit from the donation, the value of your expected benefit is not deductible.

→ Contributions made to a specific individual.
