A highlight of the week: Sean Thompson moderated a panel discussion - Opportunities for Doing Business with Savannah River Mission Completion - which was a conversation that captured exactly why this forum matters.

Congratulations to Tighe Smith, Chief Nuclear Officer of Paragon and Mirion, on receiving the American Nuclear Society Presidential Citation at the 2026 ANS Annual Meeting in Denver!

Among the Society's highest honors, this citation recognizes Tighe's more than 20 years of outstanding contributions to nuclear engineering, digital safety systems, and industry policy — helping shape the technologies and frameworks powering both today's fleet and the next generation of reactors.
