Cross Rose Circle
In times of turmoil, often heroes and kings are born. Many times it’s not until something bad happens that change must occur. Cross Rose Circle coming soon.....

I miss concerts.
I miss shows. I miss festivals. I miss thinking a festival will be fun and then getting there and remembering I hate festivals. I miss finding out an artist I love booked a show at a nearby venue. I miss getting there early and watching unknown openers morph into my new favorite act. I miss getting there late, right as the headliner is hitting the stage and the adrenaline filling the room is enough to make the building burst.
I miss the delirium when the artist walks out onto stage for the first time. I miss walking onto the GA floor and being surrounded by people all with the common goal of celebrating the same music together. I miss finding a prime spot upstairs on the railing. I miss the connection of being in the same room as the artist who has been the soundtrack to my life, and knowing for the next few hours they will be right there with me guiding me through the songs.
I miss fighting through crowds. I miss squeezing past humans. I miss being so close to other people that thinking about it right now feels like science fiction. I miss trying to make eye contact with the bartender and getting irritated, only to watch them work and remember that they are the unsung heroes of any concert
I miss getting a drink spilled on my new shoes. I miss regretting that I wore new shoes to a show. I miss obliterating my shoes in a moshpit. I miss shoving a stranger and later screaming a verse with them. I miss being packed in like sardines, losing control as the whole crowd moves together like a school of fish. I miss standing in the balcony, watching from above as the circles open up.
I miss screaming for an encore. I miss the artist walking back on stage and jumping into The Perfect Song that makes the price of admission obsolete. I miss dipping out before the encore because sometimes beating traffic and crowds can be just as satisfying. I miss ripping off a wristband in one clean pull. I miss struggling to rip it off, and then it gets all twisted up like a rope so I grab scissors.
I miss concerts, I miss shows, I miss small venues, I miss stadiums... I miss it all.
But they'll be back soon enough. And we'll see you there.
