I’ve loved his simple elegance all my life. It’s so strange when the icons we’ve grown up with leave this world isn’t it ??

The tragedy of the floods in my home state hurts our hearts. 💔 Prayers of hope today for the continued rescue operations and exhausted first responders, prayers of comfort for those who’ve lost a loved one … especially the families who lost their girls after dropping them off at Camp Mystic. I cannot imagine the shock and heartache of losing a child or the terror those children experienced.

In tragedies like this, let’s not forget to be grateful for our own blessings and give our loved ones an extra “I love you, I’m proud of you.” 🩷🙏🏻🩷🙏🏻🩷

And as my mother said almost everyday “always go to bed with a kiss” 💋
