This campaign for Jei Quarri fragrances' "It's The Queen In Me" was the very first time that Tyeshia Blackshear and I collaborated for a client, and it was a certified success! Tye's creative direction brought Jei Quarri's vision of the fragrance as a desired item of the gods to reality, and the process was crazy smooth! There are three parts to the overall "story" that was intended to be told, each part accompanied by a different scent that was to have been developed and released later. Unfortunately, Covid derailed production and the full project was shelved as a result. Things happen, and there's no love lost! Everyone was happy at the end of production, and for me, that's a championship win.

It's been one hell of a Virgo season. I lost a great auntie shortly after her birthday, had a huge increase in bookings, went off at a shoot, and cried on every scene of The Little Mermaid (a lot to unpack there). Up next is my mother's birthday and the reminder that I'm still imagining what life would've been like had she been here. . .
