For Dr. Will Martin, being part of AO is about more than attending a meeting. It’s about helping shape the conversations that move the profession forward.

Serving on the program committee alongside colleagues like Dr. Paul Fugazzotto, he’s had the opportunity to help bring together the topics and speakers that make this event valuable for clinicians around the world.

But what matters most to him is mentorship. Through the University of Florida Center for Implant Dentistry and the ITI scholarship program, Dr. Martin has spent decades mentoring clinicians who return to their communities to teach, lead, and share what they’ve learned.

As he shared, in life we all search for purpose, and for him that purpose has been caring for patients, mentoring and educating the people around him.

Seeing those scholars step onto stages of their own is one of the most rewarding parts of that journey.

That’s the kind of impact that continues to shape the future of implant dentistry.
