It’s that time of the year again, notes of cinnamon and nutmeg in the air. The iridescent haze of lights, and loved ones that you are grateful for. The reason we are thankful and our personal reasons why. Rancher Magazine knows the kitchen tables are dusted with flour and the anticipation of your favorite dish is in the works. I know things have been hard lately, I get that.
Some hopes for good news didn’t work out the way you wanted and maybe things didn’t go the way you planned.
Stop asking what you did wrong, why you and definitely stop blaming yourself.
It’s not your fault life has snags, people let you down and your heart gets broken.
You’re doing all you can do, and that’s all you should expect from yourself.
If you give your days your best and try your hardest, then it’s time to realize that you’re doing all that is possible.
People are going to hurt you.
Love doesn’t always go the way we want.
Unexpected things happen and life can get hard.
Lift your head, open your eyes and keep going.
Everything happens for a reason, so if you were disappointed, you can be sure it fell apart so something better could come together.
Faith is hard to have when you’re hurting, but it’s true.
I’ve seen it, felt it and experienced heartbreak turning into blessings.
So, if you can’t find hope for yourself, take some of mine-
I believe in you and I know that brighter times are just around the corner for you.
And if sometimes, you need to steal yourself away from your day, maybe even cry a little just to let your emotions out, then do it.
You don’t owe anyone an explanation for taking time for yourself.
Those moments of soul filling, tears flowing and quiet solace can give you that little extra bravery that you need to tackle the rest of your day..
So do it.
Find the strength to keep going, to believe and keep fighting.
Deep down, you know what you need and what makes you happy.
Big or small, fast or quick- whatever you need..do the things that bring you peace, recharge your spirit and let go of the pain.
It’s your life, your happiness and your dreams.
Don’t let anyone take that away from you or let them try to tell you what you need.
They haven’t been in your shoes and don’t the bumps and bruises and of your life.
So, close your ears, open your heart and start finding that spark you need to light your passions.
It has always been there..just waiting on you to wake it up.
Now, it’s your time.
Go set your life on fire,
One moment, one day, one dream at a time.
