Day 9: Learning How to Work With Recruiters
• When talking to a recruiter, it is an interview
• If you ARE the well-qualified candidate, call the recruiter
• If you are not the well-qualified candidate you will be eliminated
• It is a recruiters job to be discerning
• Take the council of the recruiter, they know the client and they interview more than you do
• No matter how bad the recruiter they are still the gatekeeper
• Be honest:
• About other jobs that you are looking at
• Potential bonuses
