Carter Cowboy, Senior, Catcher, and Pitcher, Janari Hyder credits Baseball Coach Farrow for his love of varsity baseball. He is also inspired by the quote “You only get what out, what you put in.” His future goals include owning his own business and subsequently inspiring others. Janari ‘s admires MLB player Ronald Acuna Jr. Janari’s favorite position is catcher and his favorite game day snack is Migo’s rap snacks. He also plays for the Carter Football Team. Janari is an all around athlete and an exceptional baseball player.

They call him “Shields” wearing the coveted number 22. Jalen Shields, Carter Cowboy Senior, plays outfield and first base. Although, he enjoys playing outfield the most. Shields got his start in baseball in 7th grade when he wanted to play a second sport to his first love, football. His future plans include attending college and starting a family. Jalen’s favorite MLB team is the Texas Ranger’s and on game day he can be found enjoying his favorite game day snack, gummy bears. Shields is an all-around athlete.
