Uncomfortable for Most. Inevitable for All. Dallas Chapter
Conscious Dying Coach and End of Life Doula inviting community to talk about end of life.
Conversations about end of life are so crucial and yet avoided like the plague. It’s like an ostrich sticking its head in the sand - just because we ignore it, doesn’t mean it will go away, and we most certainly won’t avoid it.
Death is a constant reminder of the inevitabilty of the ending of our own lives and therefore, perhaps contemplating this truth and turning inward with curiosity is a good place to start opening that door … slowly but surely.
As a two time breast cancer survivor, conscious dying coach, end of life doula, and most importantly a mortal being, I am passionate about building a community of curious souls who are ready to step into these conversations that are “Uncomfortable for Most, Inevitable for All”.
I will be starting a monthly group in the month of March - my birthday month actually, and inviting people with an open heart and curious mind to join. If you are interested in joining this community, please send me an email with the subject line “Uncomfortable for Most, Inevitable for All” and I will send you the call details. An orientation call will be held on February 22, at 2pm so pls be sure to email me before then to join the orientation call!
You can email me at [email protected]
I look forward to knowing you and growing together on this journey of life.
Be well beautiful souls and may you shine your light in all the ways today and always.
🙏

If you suddenly were informed that you only have 3 months to live, what would you do?
What would you do differently?
Who would you want to connect with?
What would you finally have the courage to say?
What would you want to stop doing?
What would you start doing?
What would you make sure you finish?
What would be your priorities that would need to be taken care of right away?

Being a family caregiver is not a new role for most of us and yet far too often, as family caregivers, we lack the support and resources to provide the best quality of care for our aging loved ones. Juggling multiple roles as professionals in our careers, parenting our children and providing informal care for our aging loved ones becomes a complex tedious journey and ends up causing burnout - so why do we not reach out for support? Why do we feel we need to do it on our own? Why we do we procrastinate and wait until it’s too late? As I continue to delve deep into the role of caregiving and think about the support we can tap into, I realize that my role as a conscious dying coach and end of life doula is so needed in our communities. Taking proactive steps to ensure that end of life planning is made a priority is crucial - and the earlier we begin to prepare, the better it is in the long run. When I was going through breast cancer for the second time, Inrealozed how unprepared I was for death. So what if I’m “just 44” I can’t assume I am too young to die and I certainly can’t presume that I have another 20 years to live. The truth is, tomorrow isn’t even promised, whether someone is battling a terminal disease or is a young healthy person. We really don’t need to react to a crisis situation. Instead, we can begin those conversations earlier on. Whether we are planning our own journeys or helping aging loved ones plan their journey, we must remind ourselves that end of life is inevitable for all of us. Planning early can help create a beautiful, safe and honorable space for all. Let’s connect and explore how I can support you and your loved ones live more consciously and plan more consciously. There is no better time than now. In truth, no one is too young or too old for this type of planning. Let’s talk more! And please share your thoughts! How important is this to you? What is holding you back from starting this conversations? How can we face uncomfortable conversations and make them count?
