For our Bermuda Residence, we paired this traditional “buttery” ceiling with clean, contemporary furnishings for a fresh retreat that lets the ocean views take center stage. A hallmark of traditional Bermudian homes, the stepped buttery ceiling reflects the island’s rich tradition of craftsmanship and unique architectural style.
