I believe that everybody experiences stress in one form or another and at different levels. However, to those of you who are experiencing a high level, don't lose hope. Stress and anxiety (in that order) go hand in hand. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to overcome these feelings. Living a stress-free life can be very challenging. But if we read, understand, and apply God's Word to our lives, you can conquer in Jesus' name. Some of you may be skeptical, but it can be done if you trust God to see you through it. 1 Peter 5:7 says this, ““Throw all your anxieties upon him, because he cares about you.” It is in God's Word that we find strength, comfort and above all, rest. You see, resting in God and in his presence, through Jesus Christ, is the key. Matthew 11:28-30 says this, ”28. Come to me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” The Lord reminded me of this today because I've been dealing with it here lately. Amid our struggles and storms, we tend to forget and that's when Satan attacks or makes his way into your life to suffer from these mental disturbances. There is only one way to live a stress-free, anxiety-free, and worry-free life, and that is through Jesus Christ, the Messiah, and Savior. He is truly the only answer to all of life's problems. Even then, God did not promise us that we would experience these storms, but will give us the strength to see us through. You are not alone. I challenge today to cast all of your cares upon him because he truly does and always will love you. ~Jarrod Martinez
