Most of you guys know that I'm a big Chart and numbers guys. I've been thinking lately how affordability has gone out the window to all those folks that really want to buy home. So I actually put a chart together showing the cost of everything. I have factored in what is the average Median Income year over year, compared to the average Median value of a home in the dfw area year over year, and with those values based on the average mortgage interest rate of each year to calculate mortgage payments to see how it actually affect affordability.
