Recovery looks different for everyone, but for many, employment is an important step toward stability and independence. 💼

Yesterday, our Employment Specialist Iesha Edwards hosted a job fair at The Bridge, connecting Guests with local employers and opportunities across a variety of industries.

The support doesn't stop there. Iesha works one-on-one with Guests to build resumes, prepare for interviews, secure professional attire, and develop the skills needed to succeed in the workplace.

🌟 Thank you to the employers who invested their time and shared opportunities with our Guests!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Through partnerships like Metrocare, our onsite behavioral health clinic, Guests at The Bridge are able to access critical mental health services and support every day.

At The Bridge, we know mental health care is an essential part of recovery, and no one should have to navigate it alone.

Thank you to our partners and Care Managers for the care, dignity, and support they bring to our community every single day!

For nearly 10 years, Margaret drifted between the streets and friends’ couches.

“At first, it felt like an adventure,” she said. But over time, survival became exhausting.

A probation program eventually led her to The Bridge, something Margaret now calls her “saving grace.”

For 11 months, The Bridge became her home base. Then came something she never thought she’d have again:

A home of her own. “I haven’t had a key in years.”

Today, Margaret is sober, housed, and rebuilding her life one day at a time.

Her story is a reminder that recovery takes time, but with support, dignity, and community, change is possible. 💙
