A few habits that made this trip stylish, relaxing and enjoyable!

⚡️ Started the morning slow with coffee and a stroll, we loved our quiet time before the day began.

⚡️ On Fridays, our hotel had sushi specials!

⚡️ Only brought dresses that didn’t wrinkle and packed well.

⚡️ I love simple, elegant jewelry. Eventho I did bring a few themed pieces on this trip.

⚡️We each brought a pair of uniquely shaped sunglasses that elevated our outfits.

⚡️ My bucket hat didn’t just save my face—it completed looks.

⚡️Our hotel gave us the sunrise, so we switched it up for sunset and had dinner on the other side of the beach, totally worth it.

⚡️ Admired the different designs and decor at sister hotels! Such a fun part of traveling.

⚡️ Discovered the best margaritas on the island.

⚡️ Biked around like teens on a rom-com set.

⚡️ Packing athleisure sets allowed me to indulge in activities I’ve had always wanted to try, without the pressure of performing

🫶🏼 This trip reminded me that ease and elegance can absolutely coexist.

First, the welcome party dress needed way more tailoring than it was worth… Then my wedding shoes got delayed until after the wedding 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

But here’s what I’m holding onto:

Buttons pop, timelines shift, the weather does its thing. But you know what, that’s life.

After 9 months of planning, in just a few hours, we’ll be surrounded by the people we love most, celebrating a story that’s uniquely ours. Not perfect but full of heart.

We decided to invite just our immediate family’s little ones—nieces and nephews who are a big part of our lives.

They’re all fairly independent, but we still planned ahead so everyone (most importantly the parents) could relax and enjoy the night!

How we structured it:

🫶🏼 They’ll be part of the ceremony (wouldn’t be the same without them)
🫶🏼 They’ll eat dinner with us, like the VIP’s they are
🫶🏼 They’ll dance till their baby shoes fall off
🫶🏼 When the time is right, we’ll have the pre-planned sitter (coming later in the evening) take them to the bridal suite!

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, but our wedding just wouldn’t be the same without them.

Brandon and I debated whether dance lessons were really necessary… but I’m so glad we went for it!

One lesson a week (plus some at-home twirls) turned into one of our favorite pre-wedding rituals. It’s less about perfection and more about making this moment ours✨

⚡️Pro tip: Pick a coach that makes you laugh and learn. Feeling at ease is just as important as nailing the steps.

👉🏼 Test the movement – Sit, dance, hug someone. If anything shifts or shows, it’s not the one.

👉🏼 Seamless wins – Say no to bulky seams or lace if you’re wearing a sleek or fitted silhouette.

Today I celebrate ALL of the moms I’ve had the honor of styling. So many incredible women, and mothers over the years. The way they show up for their families, their careers, their communities—and still make time to feel good in their skin! It’s inspiring.

Most of all, today I celebrate my own mom 🫶🏼 Her strength and perseverance. Her kindness and love. Her compassion—and yes, her well-timed sternness.
