Shelled Squirrel puppy. Spring is here!

We love when you all send us great photos like this to share! Erin Fluder Strutt captured this Eastern Snapping Turtle basking high up on a tree in the spring sunshine, fresh out of its winter brumation in the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. We don't see Snapping Turtles fully out basking quite as much as our other turtles so it's always a treat to see one. They are great climbers and we always appreciate when a turtle makes its way up high to get that perfect angle of sun.
