We’re proud to highlight the voices of those working every day to create safer, healthier communities for youth and families.

Behind every prevention professional is a reason they chose this work. During National Prevention Week, our team is sharing the experiences that continue to motivate and inspire them through 💙

For Alyssa, that inspiration comes from growing up in a community where substance use deeply impacted youth and opportunities often felt limited. Those experiences sparked her passion for helping young people feel seen, supported, and confident in their future. Today, she continues that mission by helping create positive spaces where youth can grow, connect, and believe in themselves.

Prevention is about more than education; it’s about hope, support, and building stronger futures together.
