🔵Hybrid Variants (Late 2026 Launch): Production of the Seltos Hybrid is scheduled to scale up at Gwangju later this autumn, ensuring a market introduction by Q4 2026.

According to a report by  , .official is shifting its approach to evaluating global competitors by organizing an internal electric vehicle (EV) test drive and evaluation event for executives and research employees at its Namyang R&D Center. Industry sources cited by the publication on May 25, 2026, indicate that the management and labor union of Hyundai Motor Group have agreed to host this event to directly assess the technological development of Chinese automotive manufacturers. Moving away from the traditional industry practice of reverse-engineering disassembled vehicles in isolated laboratories, the group aims to evaluate these vehicles through active track testing. Industry analysts interpret this as a strategic shift to objective learning, looking past the long-held stereotype that Chinese automobiles are merely low-cost products.

Do you recall a few weeks ago when we shared some leaked photos of the near-production ? The upcoming flagship SUV faced significant criticism from the community in those images. However, we believe that to form a well-rounded opinion, we need to see the final vehicle, not an abandoned and crashed one. That’s why we’ve created this rendering based on the spy photos we’ve already shared. Interestingly, some information suggests that despite all the leaks, Genesis decided to hold off on the full reveal until mid-September. We’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
