John 3:16 is one of the most well-known Bible verses, heard by many believers throughout their lives.

But for some, today may be the very first time they encounter the grace and love of God through it.

That was true for Ty, who heard the gospel during an outreach conducted by EvanTell and Bent Tree Church in Addison, TX.

Though he has spent time in church, John 3:16 was new to him, serving as a reminder of the need for the gospel in our world.

John 3:16 reads: For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Ty shared, “Wow, this is what I needed to hear today! Will you walk me through that verse again?”

A verse that feels familiar to many believers can be new and eye-opening to someone hearing it for the first time.
