God calls us to be different, but some like to conform to the world and be like everyone else. In this weeks Bible Study, we will look at Israel’s request for a King. God gave them what they requested, and sometimes God will grant a request to teach a lesson so that the one requesting can experience the consequences of ones request. Join me Wednesday evening from 7-8pm as we continue our series on the Lords Patience with His People.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says,”therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, old things are passed away, behold, old things are become new.” Paul was speaking to the church of Corinth, and he explained that once you come into a relationship with Christ, your entire life is spiritually transformed. Paul was a living example of this. Your behavior, lifestyle, values, and morals change as the Holy Spirit renews your heart. All of the old habits pass away. You no longer have a desire to please self but to please God. This transformation creates a clean heart and a renewed spirit, leading a person into righteousness. Thank you God for your son Jesus Christ, for offering a new life in Christ, freedom from the bo***ge of sin, for salvation, for the forgiveness of sins, for redemption, and eternal life. 🙏🏽
