Our Story
The Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (TOFGA) is the only statewide organization in Texas supporting sustainable and organic agriculture. Region 4 encompasses 14 counties: Montague, Cooke, Grayson, Wise, Denton, Collin, Parker, Tarrant, Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufmann, Hood, Johnson and Ellis.
Welcome to TOFGA Region 4’s home page, we're glad you visited today. We're the members of TOFGA that farm in north central Texas (Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding area).
This group is an opportunity to network with other Region 4 farmers and gardeners. Feel free to post questions, comments and ideas for collaboration. Sustainable agriculture in north Texas is growing and we need to help create more farmers, more markets, and a booming local food economy!
This is where you can post and read about all things pertaining to farming, local food and farmer workshop happenings in our area, and keep up with TOFGA’s annual conference. Region 4’s Director is Marie Tedei of Eden’s Garden CSA Farm in Balch Springs. Email Marie at [email protected]. See the TOFGA Region 4 website page at http://tofga.org/region4
