🌟 Lead with Inclusion: Assistant Director – Atlanta Chapter (Modest Stipend)
We Can Dance is seeking an Assistant Director to support and co-lead our Atlanta Chapter from January 15 through December 31, 2026. This is a meaningful leadership and learning opportunity for someone passionate about inclusion, accessibility, and community building, and who wants to contribute to a dynamic, mission-driven organization. The Assistant Director will assemble and lead a team of volunteers to help coordinate inclusive dance classes and socials, support volunteer leadership, assist with outreach and promotion, help grow We Can Dance membership, host events, strengthen community partnerships, and contribute to simple progress reporting. This is a flexible opportunity, and work hours and scheduling will be discussed collaboratively to accommodate individual needs. We strongly encourage applications from blind and visually impaired individuals and warmly welcome sighted allies committed to learning and practicing accessible, non-visual approaches to leadership.
Key Skills for Success (4):
• Clear and inclusive communication skills
• Strong interest in dance, movement, or arts-based community programs
• Ability to organize people and activities, including volunteer coordination
• Basic outreach, membership engagement, and social media promotion skills

2:00–3:00 PM Beginner Kompa Class led by DJ Pressure. No experience? No problem. Let DJ Pressure guide you through the basics—with sighted dancers wearing blindfolds for a truly immersive experience.
3:00–5:00 PM🎶 Social Dance Party Begins! DJ Pressure and DJ Charlie Mystro will be turning up the heat with today’s hottest hits: Kizomba, Kompa, Urban Kiz, Latin, Pop, and more! Come ready to vibe, connect, and move together as one community.
