* Meet in-person: This allows you to get more personal with each other and learn about both of your businesses and how you can partner and be advocates for one another.
* Add them to your CRM/tickler/calendar for periodic re-connecting numerous times throughout the year.
* You can make a concerted effort to chat about industry tips that you can share through email, newsletter, or a handwritten note sent via snail-mail.
* Engage with their social media by commenting and/or reposting their content periodically.
* The best way to stay connected is through a quick text or, more importantly, to give them a call to say you are thinking about them and ask how you can help them w/their business.
When you stay connected, you will remain top-of-mind when your connections have a need, problem, pain, or issue that you can help with.
