Three-time Tony Award® winner LIFE OF PI is a beautifully told story of survival, trauma, adversity, and incredible resilience. It examines how important faith is to the human spirit and the extent we go to find hope and the meaning of life in most tragic events.

LIFE OF PI is storytelling at its best. If you never read the book or saw the movie, here's the plot: It's the story of the Patel family who leaves India and their zoo behind for a better life in Canada with their son, Pi and daughter, Amma, and a few of their beloved zoo animals. They are traveling on a freighter when a terrible storm sinks it and the only survivors are Pi and their ferocious Bengal tiger, Richard Parker (yes that's really his name). After 227 days adrift alone on a small boat the play explores their relationship and how they come to respect each other and coexist while they both try to survive. There's much more to the story, but you have to go see it to find out the twist!

The performances by the leads, particularly Taha Mandviwala who plays Pi, are really superb. The incredible visuals and use of puppetry is truly theater at its best. The experience will leave you in awe.
