IRS HUB Testing Begins Today 1/15/2025 9:33 AM
HUB testing is an early controlled launch of the IRS e-file system. This testing enables all industry partners to ensure their systems are operational before the official start of e-File on January 27th.

TaxSlayer Pro will begin HUB testing with the IRS between 1pm and 5pm EST today, January 15th.

Between 1pm and 5pm EST, we will send small batches of tax returns to the IRS for processing. You may begin to receive acknowledgements as early as this afternoon.

If all goes well today, the IRS will ask for a greater number of returns in subsequent days throughout HUB testing.

HUB testing will continue the rest of this week, pause for the weekend, then resume Tuesday through Friday next week January 21-24 leading up to the official start of e-file on January 27th.

Tax returns that are sent to the IRS are randomly processed by our system. TaxSlayer Pro support cannot provide information on when any given return will be sent to the IRS for processing or when acknowledgements will be received.
