Tactile Turn

The most important part of the Clip Action is the clip (no surprise there). This is a hybrid machined/bent titanium part that we mill and then bend to a super tight tolerance so that it just barely hovers over the body of the pen. We've taken your feedback in that our clips can be too tight, so we built a natural spring into the clip that leverages titanium's ability to flex. The way the clip secures to the pen is new for us too -- we've used a dovetail that nests between the two pieces of the bolt carrier, locking the clip firmly in place.

The Clip Action Pen will be available on Thursday 5/28 at noon central. This new addition to the Tactile Turn lineup introduces some new machining and manufacturing techniques that we've never done before. We'll be giving you a deep dive into the features over the next couple days leading up to release. It'll be released in Stonewashed Titanium, Machined Finish Titanium, and DLC Titanium at launch.
