Our Foundation

Continental Battery was founded in 1932 by Ralph McCann. McCann recognized the growing battery industry and the tremendous potential of its future. Three generations of McCanns helped create a company known throughout the nation for its commitment to its customers.

Our Growth

In 2018, Continental Battery began undertaking a large expansion under the leadership of a new executive team. This influential team has succeeded in significant growth of Continental Battery Family of Companies. Our team now includes more than 50 company-owned distribution centers and a network of 20,000+ retail sellers and installers.
