Before the Big Event, Check These Boxes

As the school year wraps up, events are ramping up! Before your spring gala, fun run, awards banquet, or athletic banquet, make sure you've checked these boxes:
☑️ Confirm your event is covered by your insurance policy
☑️ Be aware that certain activities — like bounce houses and dunk tanks — are considered high-risk events that may be covered but require extra caution
☑️ Add the school district as an additional insured if required
☑️ Make sure your volunteers know what to do in case of an incident
☑️ Keep a copy of your certificate of insurance on-site at the event
