Why I’m Running.

With so many Dallas neighborhoods in need of a helping hand, this is one of the most important elections in the history of our city. For Dallas to succeed, every community in every part of our city must thrive. So when City Hall makes decisions about our future, we must do so with the input of everyday residents from all walks of life. There are too many neighborhoods that feel forgotten by City Hall – we cannot be a world-class city until the families in these neighborhoods are enjoying in equal measure the successes that this city has to offer.

The world knows Dallas by our skyline, but great cities are defined by the vitality of their neighborhoods. That’s what I want to do as Mayor – help strengthen and revitalize neighborhoods so they are safe and prosperous. We can only do this if we come together as a city and do what’s right for the future success of every part of Dallas, starting with improving basic city and education services that make a lasting difference in our everyday lives.
