Having disordered desires does not mean that God made a mistake when He created you. We shouldn't limit God to our understanding. The Church is wise in what she teaches, but from my experience "don't do it because it's a sin", is just not always enough to keep us from sin. The Church teaches that physical intimacy is for marriage and there's a reason!! You can't give your body without giving your whole self. You are a unity of body and soul.
