Brij Agarwal and Sunita Agarwal Sets A Remarkable Example of Giving Back.
Thank you
Heartfelt congratulations and admiration for Brij Agarwal and Sunita Agarwal, an extraordinary Indian-American couple whose generosity is making a lasting impact on the lives of countless people in Texas.
The Agarwals have donated an incredible $5.5 million to support healthcare services at St. Luke's Health–Sugar Land Hospital and help establish a new Primary Care Community Clinic, improving access to quality healthcare for underserved families and individuals. Their gift is reported to be the largest single donation in the hospital's history. [The Times of India]
What makes this story even more inspiring is that their success has been matched by a deep commitment to giving back. Longtime Sugar Land residents, Brij and Sunita Agarwal have consistently supported education, healthcare, and community development initiatives throughout the Houston area. Their generosity reflects the very best values of compassion, gratitude, and community service. [The Tribune]
In recognition of their historic contribution, the hospital's main patient tower and pavilion will now bear the Agrawal family name—a fitting tribute to a family whose philanthropy will benefit generations to come. [The Times of India]
At a time when the world needs more examples of kindness and social responsibility, Brij and Sunita Agarwal have shown what true leadership looks like. Their legacy is not measured by business success alone, but by the lives they touch and the opportunities they create for others.
Thank you, Brij and Sunita Agarwal, for demonstrating the power of generosity and for inspiring our community to give back. May your example encourage many others to use their success to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
This is the kind of story that makes the entire South Asian community proud.

ANSHUL KUNCHA, A 28 YEARS OLD,SHOT DEAD AFTER SUSPECTED FAKE PIZZA DELIVERY ORDER
A heartbreaking incident from Philadelphia, USA, has left a family in Telangana devastated and raised serious concerns about the safety of international students and immigrant workers abroad.
Anshul Kuncha, a 28-year-old native of India was shot dead while delivering a pizza in North Philadelphia. According to investigators, Anshul had received a late-night pizza order and delivered it to an apartment unit that was later discovered to be vacant. Moments after completing the delivery, he was shot at close range and suffered fatal head injuries. Police are currently investigating the case and believe the order may have been part of a planned setup. ([The Times of India]
Anshul had been living in the United States for nearly four years. Reports indicate he was pursuing an MBA at Temple University while also working part-time as a pizza delivery driver to support his education and living expenses. Family members say he was hardworking, ambitious, and dedicated to building a better future. ([The News Minute]
His family believes the delivery request was a deliberate trap designed to lure him to the location. In an emotional statement, Anshul's sister described the incident as a "trap" and questioned why anyone would target a young man who was simply working to support himself and his dreams. ([The Times of India]
Authorities recovered evidence from the scene, including pizza boxes delivered to the vacant apartment, and are investigating a phone number linked to the order. No arrests have been announced so far. ([The Times of India]
The Consulate General of India in New York has expressed condolences and confirmed that it is working closely with local authorities while providing assistance to Anshul's family. ([The Economic Times]
This tragic loss serves as a painful reminder of the risks faced by many students and immigrants who work late hours to pursue their education and support their families. What should have been a routine delivery turned into a nightmare that ended a promising young life far too soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Anshul Kuncha's family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
🙏 May his soul rest in peace.
