💖 This is YOUR journey! Take charge 💪🏾These are just a handful of suggestions of the kinds of questions you are fully entitled to ask. Don’t allow yourself to feel rushed out of the office, dismissed, ridiculed...and if you are find another doctor ASAP # 🏃🏿♀️
I fired my first fertility specialist. She was empathetic with all the failed attempts to get pregnant but I felt like a number to their practice and of course every appointment felt like it was 5 seconds long.
The next doctor was AMAZING 🤩 Kind, super successful at helping women just like us and without knowing me just treated me like a PERSON. Sometimes (besides being an expert), we just want to be seen and heard. It really is the little things sometimes.
💭Which one of these questions remains unanswered for you?
💭Which one do you think you’d like to ask at your next appointment?
💭What question is missing that you think is super important for women with PCOS?

✏️Words matter. They really really do. Speak life💚health💚well-being 💚and abundance 💚 into your life. I am a huge proponent of using the law of attraction to your benefit as a woman with PCOS. The law is working whether you like it or not so we may as well use it to our advantage and speak what we want into existence 🙌🏾
Seek out resources, people and places that you can learn from to help you reverse your PCOS symptoms. I hope I make the cut 😉
💖Begin to act on what you learn. Quit waiting for the perfect time, date or to be in the mood. JUST DO IT. Once we get in the groove of trying things it might become fun or be a total disaster. Either way you will learn from it.
💖Have an attitude of gratitude for all the things that bring you joy and peace now. Write them down. Feel the feelings of gratitude for all the little and big things as you make your list.
❌Don’t indulge in negative conversations both online and offline. It’s ok to open about your fears, hurts and struggles (cry if you have to to release pent up feelings) and then do your best to angle the conversation to lessons learned and next steps. If you feel too vulnerable to open up to people that’s ok too. Don’t be hard on yourself. You’re not going to figure it all out in a day. I never did and I haven’t met anyone who did.
Just remember...you got this! 💪🏾
