Reminder that today at 10am the library is hosting “Art with Vet!” Great opportunity for a mental break, exercise your right brain!

Learn new art techniques from VET while you explore your creative side and connect with fellow art enthusiasts!

This month we will be making Fabric Collages based on personal, fond memories and learn how artists use creative techniques, methodologies, in addition to self-expression, working with fiber arts.

Celebrate the launch of the Paris 2024 Olympics by attending the Audeila Road Branch, Go for Gold: Olympic Kickoff Bash on Saturday, July 27 from noon to 3 p.m.

This event will be fun for the whole family!

Schedule:

Noon - Olympic Scavenger Hunt
12:30 p.m. - Fencing Demonstration by the Fencing Institute of Texas
1 p.m. - Taekwondo Demonstration by Golden Tiger Taekwondo
1:30 p.m. - Go for the Gold group game
2:00 p.m. - Olympic-themed sporting games and craft
