With most employees seeking to do their job efficiently and ensure no disruption to business operations, employees can easily fall victim to this form of fraud. Ensure proper security controls are in place to include vetting payment change requests, obtaining verbal or in-person verification when wire transfers or electronic signatures are requested, and reporting suspicious communication or emails.
