Texans on Mission

Last week, Texans on Mission deployed a chainsaw team to Norman, Oklahoma, to help provide relief after high windstorms caused extensive damage in the area.

Since deploying, volunteers have completed 17 chainsaw jobs and are still working to complete more as residents approach recovery.

Thank you to every volunteer who came together to help Norman pick up the pieces left by these severe storms. Please pray for those providing help, hope and healing in Christ's name and for those impacted.



Another set of Texans on Mission Disaster Relief teams rolled out to Louisiana this morning.

After severe flooding from Tropical Storm Arthur, volunteers are headed to St. Landry Parish to help provide relief. Teams will serve in the area for several weeks. The need is great, and there are hundreds of homes and impacted residents to help.

Flood recovery, feeding, chaplains, shower/laundry, asset protection, electrical and electronic support and an incident management team will begin work as soon as they arrive. They will be joining the initial shower/laundry team and electrical unit that deployed at the end of June.

Please pray for traveling grace, for those impacted and for every volunteer working to help residents recover.
