This week, we are excited to honor Carlos, a remarkable example of selflessness and true surrender to Jesus! His openness about his BC (before Christ) life is a powerful testament to the transformative work God can do in our lives.

Carlos serves regularly wherever he can, always eager to lend a helping hand. Whether it’s cooking at men’s breakfast, teaching a Bible study, supporting others, serving at the food pantry, or singing on the worship team, Carlos embodies a spirit of service and generosity that uplifts our community.

Sunday we heard about a wood-burning fireplace at home. At night, the fire burns bright. By morning, it’s nothing but gray ash. All it tells me is:
👉 “Yesterday there was a fire here, but it’s gone out.”

Spiritually, it can be the same. Proverbs 26:20 says, “Where there is no wood, the fire goes out.”

If there’s no thanksgiving…
If there’s no praise…
If there’s no worship…
Then there’s no “wood” on the altar of your heart.
