Last week, the DIU community gathered to honor Eric Bartels and celebrate his many years of faithful service to GIAL and Dallas International University.

For decades, Eric has been a familiar and trusted presence at GIAL and DIU. Through a variety of leadership, teaching, and mentoring roles, he has invested deeply in students, colleagues, and ministry leaders around the world. His steady leadership, thoughtful counsel, and commitment to God's mission have left a lasting mark on our community and on countless lives beyond our campus.

Those who have had the privilege of working alongside Eric know that his influence extends far beyond titles and classrooms. He has faithfully modeled servant leadership, wisdom, and a genuine investment in others.

We are grateful for the many years Eric has devoted to GIAL and DIU and for the legacy of faithfulness he leaves behind.
