Featuring the work of Los Angeles-based Kyungmi Shin and her painting and ceramic sculptures (capturing imagery of her family and South Korea along with chinoiserie), the estate of legendary California artist Billy Al Bengston (bold colors and industrial materials) and Will Gabaldon’s pastoral green landscapes capturing the fleeting feeling of place. Celebrating the 16th edition of the 📸

So honored to have played a part in this Cynthia Daignault “Oklahoma” painting making its way into the permanent collection of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. I noticed the painting in the auction and immediately felt the impact of the work, knowing it needed to be at — to tell the story of contemporary art and particularly the bombing (I was in 8th grade).
