A Brand refresh for

A passion project we worked on a few years ago as an effort to find more clientele in the sports industry.

The goal was to make the Dallas franchise more classic than generic. The league has strong identities, Dallas needed to stand out.

We kept the Frisco flag—the city the club is actually in—the Texan star, the Flame from the Dallas Burn (original and first name of the franchise) and refined the badge shape to make it more authoritative.

We love the longhorn in the current badge, but it makes people think too much of a typical NBA, MLB and NFL franchise logo, not a classic football badge.

FC Dallas has gone through 2 rebrands, and being one of the founding franchises in the MSL we wanted to give it a more authoritative look. What do you think? Did we achieve it?
