Yup. comes correct and speaks facts… shout out for getting the flowers they deserve. Shout out Fishbone live is a comet crashing into a UFC cage fight at a firework factory. No one walks away from these performances without something to tell their kids…and probably with a twisted ankle. On a Friday in 2026, as it was in 1986, Moore and company were launching rockets and moving feet. At age sixty and rocking a couple of knee replacements, Moore was still stomping, swinging, and stage diving without fear. Behind the keys, Chris Dowd had that Little Richard jump and swag. The return of his vocal contributions was the peanut butter to this jam. Hallelujah, y’all.
Fishbone, celebrating the 40th anniversary of In Your Face, played the album in its entirety. The lineup changes in recent years, notably the return of Dowd and departure of bassist Norwood Fisher, saw some new faces on stage. Any worry about weaknesses in the band’s sound disappeared immediately. James Jones picked up for Fisher and notched in perfectly with drummer Hassan Hurd. Hurd is among the 2024 additions of multi-instrumentalist JS Williams and the return of guitarist Tracey Singleton. It might be sacrilege to say, but this might be the tightest, most focused, and most fun lineup in decades.

Coming off tour we loaded the merch store with a lot of items from shirts, buttons, patches, hot sauce, tote bags and we have a couple boxes of tour vinyl that came back… we got a late start on the run, so missed SF, Seattle, Portland… this one is dope af… clear vinyl and a clear orange vinyl… we only made 500 of these and want to make them available for collectors. 3 variants available. We do everything DIY.. from selling direct to you or working with Independant record stores. No middle man… relationships are everything. If it wasn’t for independent record stores and college radio, we would never have gotten anywhere’s. So when we make physical releases, we have to make special version of the indie stores. Support your local record store and pick up the exclusive version of In Your Face/Cover Your Fave at your favorite shop. If they don’t have it, have them reach out to us and we’ll get it to them!!! Last night at we ended our 20 Year Anniversary Album Play of … this was one for the books. Should have been called the “morale” tour based on how much love and fun it was for all of us and meeting all of y’all at the VIP’s or reading your reviews and comments just gave so much reaffirmation that Fishbone is Red Hot. We could never have done this without. Andrew, Merrick, Gabe and the ENTIRE team at .. our crew .funkateer , Scott and … Matt, the prince of merch, Captain Bill driving us and keeping us safe and the one and only Master of Ceremonies, Chy-Boogie … all the promoter, venues, staff, marketing teams.. thank you for keeping places for live music to come and be shared an not giving up on us… to all the bands and artists we had the honor to share the stage with… .pioneers (for having us out in Chicago), .industrial .star .ska .band There were a lot of milestones on this… first time doing a VIP and bringing out Fishbone Karaoke, first time selling out this many shows on a headline tour, Mr joining us on stage in SF for 5 songs… every single show turned the f**k out and turned the f**k up…them s**ts we’re almost there and packed out… ya heard. We have more coming up this year, looking to go overseas, some shows here and there, a new record being recorded now and to be released this fall… thanks to all you Kickstarter supporters… this tour just ended, but we just starting… Thank you. Make A Slection… we made these different variants for the 40 Year Anniversary of In Your Face/Cover Your Face… it was brought to my attention that a good handful of the orders that were made on preorder were shipped back in April “fell off the truck”.. our apologies for that.. if you are trading this and you are one of those people, check your tracking and it should be moving again… they were resent… if you still haven’t gotten yours, we have web versions left (maybe 4 boxes), you can get the tour version at the last 2 shows ( and )and at your favorite retail shop… if they don’t carry it, tell them you need it and they can order direct from us!!!
