For far too long, women and girls with bleeding disorders have faced delayed diagnoses and barriers to care. Now, the work that our advocates and allies in Congress have paid off.

The FED UP with Bleeding Disorders Act aims to advance research, awareness, provider education, and equitable access to care for women and girls with bleeding disorders.

Today, along with Lone Star Bleeding Disorders, we are testifying at the Texas Health and Human Services Drug Utilization Review Board to ensure all hemophilia drugs remain on the Medicaid PDL in Texas!

NBDF is now accepting applications for 2026 scholarship opportunities, including the Kevin Child Scholarship (KCS), which awards $1,000 to eligible students living with hemophilia A or B.
NBDF has also compiled a list of additional scholarships for individuals with inheritable bleeding disorders and their families.
