This week we’re showcasing a retaining wall dig-out we completed for a client here in Dallas. We always explain to clients with failing wood retaining walls that the process usually involves digging about 8–12 inches in front of the fence line to properly prepare for the new retaining wall installation.

This video doesn’t show the full process, but it gives a good look at the prep work involved before the new wall goes in. Our crew kept the area clean and fully prepared for the new wood retaining wall installation.
