I’ve noticed that winter can be a bit tough for me, and I think a huge part of it is due to less time outside. My garden doesn’t need fussing over and 35 degrees is just too cold for this girl to go on a walk! The sun was out today, and even though it’s still in the 30s, I bundled up and went outside, and I’m so glad I did! I got to admire some trees, Whiskey got to smell ALL the smells, it seems like everyone who walked past me said “good morning,” and life is just brighter! 😁🌞 Even after consciously acknowledging that daily time in nature is necessary for me, it still never ceases to amaze me what 30 mins outside can do! 🌳🐕

In our house, Christmas season means EGG NOG season! 🤩🥛 We make a huge batch from scratch closer to Christmas, but for the rest of the month, we sip on store-bought egg nog.⁣
