We developed this program so that we could more easily spend time with one another, and not have to leave our more difficult dogs at home.

Dogs who struggle are often left behind in the name of management. And while management absolutely has its place, too often it becomes the end goal rather than the starting point.

We believe many dogs deserve more than a life built around avoidance.

But the vast majority of dogs can benefit from safe, structured experiences around members of their own species — learning how to move through the world, decompress, and exist alongside other dogs with less pressure and more freedom.

GRIT was designed for dogs whose worlds deserve to be bigger. Dogs who need more than just clicks + treats in order to heal.

GRIT is an 8-week virtual course designed to help dogs (and their humans) build real-life skills for navigating the world with more calm, confidence, and freedom.

It isn’t another protocol to stop your dog from barking and lunging. It’s about teaching dogs how to make better choices independently, alongside other dogs, without requiring constant micromanagement from their handler.
